Description
Madonna del Terraglio is on the first floor of a building without a lift, in the old town of Verona a short walk from the Adige. Two bedrooms with double or twin beds, two bathrooms each with a shower, a separate living area with a kitchenette, and a balcony over the street.
The balcony is where the day starts here: coffee in the morning, with the shutters still half closed on the room behind you. It is the quieter of our two apartments, and the one guests come back to in couples.
Restaurants and shops are in the streets around the building, and the pedestrian bridge takes you over to the other side in a few minutes on foot. Ponte Pietra, the Roman Theatre, Piazza Erbe and the Arena are all part of the same walk.
You can reach the apartment by car, and guests leave it in the free public car park nearby. Anne owns both apartments and answers her messages herself, in French, English or Italian: you book with her, not through an agency.

The location is absolutely perfect
Do not bother looking or comparing other apartments. This apartment is everything it looks in the photos. The location is absolutely perfect - cannot be better. If your dates are available, book now. You wont find better.
Equivalent of a luxury hotel
This place is equivalent of a luxury hotel and very individual, designed with much love for detail. Even though it was raining in Verona, we had a wonderful holiday because of the cozyness of the place. Very fast internet connection, very friendly and available host, perfect location for sightseeing. we highly recommend!

Perfect location for visiting the city, the apartment itself is just as beautiful as the pictures and Anne does everything she can to make your stay wonderful. I was here with my sister and mum for my mums 60th birthday, Anne helped us with restaurant recommendations, tips for a day trip to lake garda and much more. Her guide book on restaurants, osterias, pizzerias, bars was amazing, we had fantastic food and wine at all her recommended local spots. Thank you Anne for an unforgettable weekend in beautiful Verona. We will be back.

Beautiful in every way
The apartment itself is beautiful, like Anne herself. The furnishings are gorgeous, the beds comfy and the A/C welcoming after a hot day exploring Verona. It is located in a perfect spot on the quiet side of the river, a block from a free parking lot and two short blocks to the bridge which takes you into the city center. Anne could not have been more accessible or helpful, responding immediately to my every need. It was, indeed, a sweet experience.

Who is the host, and what languages does she speak?
I am Anne Bernard. I trained at the Vatel Institute in Lyon, I have lived in Verona since 1992, and I look after both apartments myself. I reply in French, English and Italian, and I am one of the very few native French-speaking hosts among Verona's boutique apartments. Ask me where to eat away from the busy squares: that is the part of the job I like best.
What is the balcony like?
It looks over the street, with cushioned benches to sit on, and it is where guests have their coffee in the morning. It is a balcony, not a terrace: if you want outdoor space to eat in, Santo Stefano is the apartment with the terrace.
Is there parking near the apartment?
Madonna del Terraglio has no private parking, but you can reach the apartment by car, and guests leave it in a free public car park nearby. Write or call me before you arrive and I will tell you where to stop to unload the luggage and where to leave the car for the rest of your stay.
